"Very good location, close to everything. The room was truly spacious and aesthetically pleasing. Under any other circumstances, my rating would definitely be above 8. However, the reason I cannot give such a score is the fact that the staff showed zero interest in our requests. For example, the WiFi in the room was practically non-existent, and we were forced to pay in order to have internet access. For a hotel of this level, I find this unacceptable that we didn’t have internet through our vacation!"

However, as I mentioned above, the fact that we had no internet in the room and that the staff showed no interest in resolving the issue for three consecutive days is unacceptable. The peak of our frustration came when we asked to speak to the manager — we were never informed or connected with one, and instead were repeatedly told that nothing could be done. It is simply not acceptable for a 3-star hotel that, firstly, most of the staff cannot properly communicate in English (with only one employee being able to do so adequately), and secondly, that the majority of the staff displayed complete indifference to our problem. Even when we explained that this would lead to a negative review, they either pretended not to understand or accepted it without offering any alternative or gesture to make up for the situation. I did not book a guesthouse, where I might expect fewer amenities. For a hotel of this level, I have certain standards, and this experience fell short of them. For these reasons, my rating is lower than what I would have liked to give, considering the otherwise positive aspects of the stay. I strongly suggest that management pay closer attention to the staff they hire and amenities they MUST offer, because their attitude plays a crucial role in the overall guest experience — even when the facilities themselves are of good quality."

"Room could have been cleaner. Black mold on the bathroom ceiling. Housekeeping came by at irregular times, and didn’t complete their work each day. The first two nights our room phone rang in the middle of the night (prank call’s?). After the second time we disconnected the phone"

"Location was great breakfast was also good staff were excellent check in was great especially as we arrived late due to a flight delay so arrived at 2am no issues night porter gave us our key and escorted us to our room and carried the cases"

"We booked a deluxe room but did not realise it was right on the top floor of the hotel so 5 flights of stairs to get there. We did not ask to change rooms as we were only there for 5 days, but if we stayed again we would request a lower floor as it was quite exhausting especially when returned after a day exploring. Air con could be better key card activated the electric and air con. We were only given one room key but it was really hot about 31 degrees so when we left the room the aircon would go off so on our return the room was extremely hot. Balcony was not what we were expecting no table or chairs and no view just a brick wall it was not what you would call deluxe. We also had the electricity trip when we turned the lights on when we arrived we reported this and the next day it was fixed"
