"The location. It was a very easy 5-10 min walk to the centre,the harbour side and castle. About a 15-20 mins walk to the ferry marina and the same from the Çeşme bus station where we arrived. The hotel and the room were very nicely decorated and the pool area while small was very clean and charming. We were able to get drinks around the pool and enjoyed our daily simple Turkish breakfast. Staff kindly packed a small breakfast on request for our early check out."
"The bathroom drain smelled very bad at times. This is often the case in old buildings but if the shower drains had a plug to cover them when not in use it would help stop the smell into the room."

"The size of the room was good, everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, aircon worked well and there was a balcony to the back side. With the windows and doors closed, it wasn't too loud, however I use to wear earplugs anyway when staying in hotels. The breakfast buffet was nothing special, but sufficient. There are countless small shops, eateries and a supermarket right around the hotel and it's only a few minutes walk to the beach promenade. The value for the money was really good and I ended up staying four days instead of the one planned, because the town and the surroundings were so pleasantly nice and laid back."
