"Great hospitality in a most comfortable and stylish traditional establishment. Hergla will offer you local amenities and is situated by the sea. This small hotel is conveniently situated in the town centre with plenty of locals passing by."

"Perhaps the owner, who is very kind by the way, would control the banging of doors within the establishment. This is a minor point but can disturb guests. In and around Hammamet public transport options, ie louages, are extremely limited for whatever reason if you want to go further afield. Louages are ok between Hammamet and Sousse but otherwise it is very difficult to avoid taking taxis."

"We had a wonderful stay at L’Artisan Home in Hergla. Our host and his family were extremely kind and gentle, and they welcomed us very warmly from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality made us feel comfortable and truly at home. Hergla itself is a beautiful and very peaceful coastal town, perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The atmosphere is calm, the sea is nearby, and the whole place has a very authentic charm. L’Artisan Home would definitely be our place of choice if we come back to Hergla. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm welcome and a tranquil stay by the coast."

"A perfect little escape. Hergla has been everything we hoped for – simple, authentic and beautifully calm. Our stay has been rustic but incredibly comfortable, giving us a real glimpse into local life rather than the usual tourist experience. Ala and his dad have been wonderfully hospitable and kind – the sort of hosts who make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. The room is cosy and comfortable, the food has been delicious, and the local people are warm and friendly. Add in the lovely terrace to sit, relax and watch the world go by, and it’s been a truly special short break."

It boasts a fantastic location just off the seashore towards the older part of town. The owner is a great chef and a dinner at their Restaurant is an absolute must. Breakfast too is a treat. Staying here provides a window into everyday local peoples lives at work."
