"The water tap is weird design, very easy to splash water to everywhere. Check out very early in the morning, there is no body in the desk, nobody answering, but she was sleeping inside of the room. Even the other staff upstairs heard and came downstairs woke her up…I nearly give up my 10 dollars deposit tho.."

"Although it's starlink the WiFi does not really work. Bathroom is quite outdated and could have been cleaner but again it was quite cheap. Not the hotels fault but be aware there is the national stadium across the street. When I was staying there was a very loud open air concert until late at night. But earplugs helped"

"I do not get the mixed reviews. My room was big, with en-suite bathroom and hot shower, with A/C and very fast wifi. The receptionists were fun, friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Dili ferry. I was very positively surprised and would recommend the hotel to everyone looking for a budget accommodation in Dili."

"The Chong Ti is comfortable and central to the older area of Dili. There are lots of places to eat nearby (coffee & breakfast at the Peace Cafe about 3 minutes walk away is great). Hence they don't provide refreshments other than bottled water in the room. The fridge is handy for keeping drinks cold. The rooms come with a kettle as well. There is TV but nothing for English speakers. A useful supermarket is about 2 minutes walk from the hotel. We could walk with our backpacks to the ferry terminal in about 20 minutes. The staff, esp Fina, were friendly and helped us to find good value hire car rides to the airport and for a longer trip out east. A staff member sleeps on site to assist with reception & the gate if guests require out of hours arrival or departure. The site has car parking which is also good for guest pick up or set down. The hotel is not flashy or glamorous to look at but provides a clean, comfy bed, hot shower & cool air con at a budget price for Dili.."
