"The TV is the room only had Thai channels so for us being tourists, we could not watch at all. Smart TV allowing us to connect for example our own Netflix accounts would be good for the evenings you want to stay in and rest."
"Stayed last two weeks of January 2026. Super value hotel, far surpassing our expectations. Nice big rooms, cleaned (even under the bed) and serviced daily. Daily change of towels, supply of coffee and water. Effective fridge, airco, shower. Insect-free. Good room safe. Place to shower off sandy feet in the hotel entrance. Pleasant staff. Great location with easy access to beach, plenty of good restaurants nearby."
"Very minor negatives: rooms are on 3rd floor, up 2 flights of stairs; lift for baggage, not people. Occasional passage of noisy electioneering and boxing match loudspeaker vans. The shower hose could usefully be a bit longer. We had to 'remind' the hotel to change the bed linnen after the first week, though this was then done immediately."

"This is a privately owned apartment in a complex. It is ground floor in a quiet corner. The apartment is large and is modern with every conceivable appliance you could wish for in the kitchen/lounge.including large fridge, washing machine, hob and microwave. The Bedroom can be separated by ajoining doors. Bed huge and comfortable. Wardrobe large with lots of hangers. There's a safe in the lounge. Bathroom has a non slip walk in shower. There are separate AC units in the lounge/kitchen and Bedroom which is a great idea. You can sit out frint or back. Now the apartment is like a shop. It has games beach stuff sun hats even a couple of crash helmets if you want to rent a bike. The Pool is large and well designed with plenty of sun beds. 10 mins walk to beach.What I also liked was it was next door to Retro Sports Bar which showed all the Foootball Matches and had draft Guinness and next to that a great Kebab Shop."

"Per and Sirilak's apartment at Kamala Regent is lovely. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and provided helpful information on request. Very clean, spacious and comfortable apartment and friendly people to deal with. Walking distance to just about everything under 1km. Some local coffee and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. On-site facilities such as pool, restaurant and gym very nice and clean. Security were happy to call a taxi for us when we weren't up for walking. We highly recommend and would absolutely stay again. Thank you for making our stay in Kamala memorable 💖"

The "5-minute walk" rule. 5 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to the night and fruit markets, and 5 minutes to the Big C supermarket. With great restaurants and massages just around the corner, you don't even need a taxi. We loved our 5-night stay!"
"The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a short home stay or even longer. Good-sized bedrooms, comfy beds and a nicely set up kitchen. The air conditioner works well. It was lovely to sit on the balcony at night and first thing in the morning and hear the jungle. It is a bit out of the way, so it is quite quiet, which was perfect for us. You will need the use of Grab or hire your own transport to get in and out of Kamala and beyond. The pool was nice and a lovely area to chill out in."
