"We really liked Frog Beach Huts - they are at the far north end of long beach (Aow Yai) and so, for me, provided a good balance of being able to walk 20 minutes or so (or ride 5) to the busier middle but still having a relatively quiet place to stay. The huts are set back from the beach over the "swamp" but it doesn't smell and there weren't thousands of mosquitos as you might imagine. The scooters going past to the parking area didn't bother me, but if you think they would you, then grab a hut at Frog Beach House instead. The huts here are quite basic with some not very comfortable furniture, but setting up a hammock fixed that. There is no mini-fridge unfortunately. We found Robert & Nok to be friendly. Food and drink are served all day up to around 9:30pm (but this varies) down at the main building on the beach (just 2 minutes walk away from the furthest hut) and the prices and quality are good enough given the convenience."

"No mini-fridge. Uncomfortable chair. No blinds or curtains in my hut. The huts get unbearably hot from 11:30am onwards - but then you are on a tropical island so it's to be expected with no air con."

"perfect location on the beach and very nice with the bungalows right on the water and it’s technically very relaxing - if it wasn’t for the scooter parking being placed exactly in the middle of the bungalows instead of being placed at the entry. Therefore, it gets loud. And very amazing location on the beach."

"The scooter parking is exactly in the middle of the place so you drive to scooters right in the middle of the bungalows and it’s so loud and it feels not right. Also, the stuff is quite unpleasant. They came into my room three times basically forced me to check out even though I still had 10 minutes.."

"The bungalow I was given was not as shown in the pictures. I was given a bungalow with no table and chairs outside and it also had an extra single bed. I did ask about this however I was told this is what I had."

"Pas de bouteilles d’eau potable dans le bungalow ! Du scotch sur les planches pour boucher les trou, aucune housse de protection sur le matelas, draps déchiré et rideaux en guise de couverture…malgré que nous ayons manger a leurs restaurant ils nous a était facturé 20bth pour deux simples tasse d’eau chaude ! Et pas de wifi dans le bungalow… l’eau de la salle de bain s’évacue directement sous le bungalow sans fausse et provoque une odeur nauséabonde.. personnel pressant au moment du Checkout !"
