"Wow! Just when I thought the hotels in Senegal couldn't get any more scenic, along comes NAFI'O.  The location of this hotel, right above the sea, is staggeringly beautiful. It's a short walk down to the water (very rocky, so not for swimming, but you can sit comfortably in the splash zone for some refreshment).  The hotel is situated in front of the massive old stone walls of the island, and is quiet and serene. The gardens on the property are so, so pretty. Plants and trees and birds and butterflies abound! My room was small bit very tidy, and the bed was comfortable.  The proprietor and her family were friendly and helpful with anything I needed.  The island is really small, so all restaurants, museums, the ferry port, etc. are a quick, max 20 minute walk.  What a wonderful stay - thank you NAFI'O 😊"

"Very pleasant host, comfortable room with bathroom in a quiet part of the island. All toiletries, kettle, air conditioning. No hot water, but still comfortable in warm weather. Very good breakfast with homemade juices. Better to carry a torch on the way to the accommodation in the dark."

"I had a wonderful experience during my 2-night stay at this place. When I arrived, the host's daughter gave me a warm welcome and showed me around. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I took the breakfast in the garden, the sweet mango and the garden tea were a real treat. I also had the pleasure of sharing a delicious lunch with the family, they sure know how to cook up some tasty dishes! The location of the house at the back of the island was perfect, as it offered a quieter atmosphere and provided a beautiful view. The garden added to the overall charm of the place. On their recommendation, I visited ' La plage des amoureux,' which was a clean and stunning beach. I spent a afternoon with the family, it was a blast and I learned so much about their culture. I can't wait for my next trip to Goree Island, knowing that I have found a fantastic place to stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable experience."

"5 to 7 minutes walking from the jetty but for me it was ok as I explored different paths or stopped at the viewpoint for sunset before going for dinner. For the last 200 meters carry a torch evening time."

"Ce n’est pas quelque chose de établissement que je n’ai pas aimé, c’est la montée pour y aller. attention pour la douche je n’ai compris comme de partir. Il faut faire chauffer l’eau à la bouilloire la mettre dans la bassine à côté pour mélanger l’eau avec de l’eau froide. Personne ne me l’avait expliqué."
