"The location was excellent. Iztok was very helpful and let us checked in early. The apartment was a lovely place to stay and had a fabulous view of the castle. The apartment felt quite luxurious and we really enjoyed staying there."

"The apartment had a fabulous view over the old part of the city and the castle which we really appreciated. That meant climbing up stairs to the 5th floor, however, the view and the apartment was worth it."

"Perfect location in the center of Ljubljana. Great view over the fortress. Interior is very typical for great Slovenian design which is very similar to the Scandinavian - clean lines, simple style and very functional. Beds were very comfy. The woman we communicated with was very helpful , kind and forthcoming . Highly recommended !"

The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook dinner after a visit to the fresh and local food market. Iztok our host was very helpful with suggestions of places to eat and the food market. "I stayed at i Design Apartment with two friends and honestly… I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Ljubljana! First, the location is unbeatable, and I really mean it. You step out the door and you’re right in the heart of the city, with everything just a short stroll away. The apartment itself is spotless, modern, and stylish, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring. The owner was absolutely amazing, super friendly, responsive, and genuinely caring, which made the whole experience even better. And then… the view! Waking up every morning to that picture-perfect sight of the castle was just magical. If you’re coming to Ljubljana, this is the place to stay."

"This isn't a negative comment specifically about this property, just a bit of a heads up to other travellers: Throughout Slovenia you are required to fill out a detailed form and/or send pictures of your identification before the accommodations will give you access codes. There are also often other taxes that you are required to pay in cash on site after your stay (they aren't a lot, but make sure you have cash!). If you are travelling with someone else (like I was), make sure you have quick access to your travel partner's information, and don't forget some cash!"

"Amazing spacious, light, and comfortable apartment with prime views of St Nicholas Cathedral and the Ljubljana Castle. Access to a kitchen, storage, comfortable living space and pretty much everything else you would need to feel at home. Iztok was extremely generous in collecting us from the airport and showing us some recommendations. The best place to stay in Ljubljana."
