"Breakfast was great, location was excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful - even to non-guests of the hotel. There was a heater in the bathroom that worked!"
"I felt the room was lacking in a few aspects. For example it was smaller than shown in the pictures, there was no floor mat in the bathroom, so we had to use one of the towels. The power points were not easily accessible, there were only 2 clothes hangers in the closet. There was no mat inside the door, so we had to wipe our shoes outside. All of these are minor points, but I believe for very little cost, a big increase in guest comfort is possible. There was one thing, I really didn't like and that was the "piped music" at 7:00 in the morning. That was quite loud and imposing. Please fix"

"The hotel has an excellent location in the heart of old town close to the Kalmar castle, the city park. The room was not very spacious but cosy. Bathroom OK with strong stream of the water in the shower. The staff was friendly. I will recommend you to book the parking place if you come with the rented car. The breakfast was good."

"It was so awesome! This boutique hotel is such a gem in Kalmar city! Went there for Easter and I wish we stayed longer. Close proximity to the central station, the Kalmar Castle and museum, and the shopping/resto area. So so charming and will definitely come back. They have incredible breakfast buffet with made to order omelette. Definitely not your typical Swedish simple breakfast...an elevated version, that is. They have also "kvällsmat", soup, salad and bread light dinner included in the price. That was a nice touch for when you just want something light for the evening."
