This property is beautifully located in the centre of Trollhättan, by the canal waterfront. Scandic Swania was built in the early 1900s as a city hall. Original ceiling paintings from that time still exist. Today Scandic Swania’s rooms are decorated in a actualitzat, Nordic style and some provide lovely canal views. The airport at Trollhättan is just 15 minutes away. The seasonal menu at Swania's in-house menjador offers organic dishes and the relaxation facilities include a pool, sauna and workout room. The newly refurbished meeting rooms have a capacity of up to 200 people.

"The location, and the beautiful view from the room. The staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. They gave us our room earlier than the usual check-in time, facing the water, as requested. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with nice modern details. Didn't get a chance to use the pool, but what we could see looked promising. The games area with the table tennis and "foosball" were welcome distractions for young and the not-so- young. The hotel is also pet-friendly - saw a couple of well-behaved dogs sitting patiently with their respective families in the hotel premises. Heartening 😊. Will definitely be coming back here again."
"The bathroom could do with a floor rug for when you step out of the shower. The room had no fridge, nor water heater. The breakfast was nice enough, but the bacon that was prepared was soft and swimming in grease. The lift we used is in need of maintenance, but got us + our baggage to our floor."

The staff contacted and booked another facility 5 mins from hotel, with gym, swimming pool, sauna access. We really appreciate the effort."
