Sweden’s first floating residència is ancorated on Klädesholmen Island, 45 minutes’ drive from Gothenburg. Guests can enjoy free WiFi and panoramic views of the Bohuslän Archipelago at this unique, themed property. The bright, minimalista guest rooms at Salt & Sill are located in 6 buildings on floating platforms. Each guest room has a TV and private patio. Guests can also enjoy a sauna-boat and swimming from a pontoon deck. Salt & Sill’s sea-side punt de restauració serves a menu of traditional, regional specialities, such as sill (the herring fish). Guests can rent bicycles at the property to explore the surroundings. Common area activities include fishing, canoeing and hiking.

"The place is absolutely beautiful, with a picture-perfect view of the archipelago from both the restaurant, the terrace and most of the rooms. Good breakfast with a wide variety of options to choose from. I appreciate the attention to details in the decor, everything is on theme and matching the place well; nice ceramics in the restaurant and super cute wooden egg holders & nice lighting throughout."
"I’m not sensitive to things like that but the walls are so thin that with the rooms’ layout you’ll hear every single sound from the room next to you; every word and all the snoring… Another downside is number 2 eggs; the price difference between these and free range is too small to justify it."
