"Les Baroudeurs Hostel has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with the caretaker, Anne, being attentive and making you feel at home. The hostel maintains an excellent level of cleanliness and offers comfortable accommodations, whether in private rooms or dorms, as well as well-equipped communal areas, including the kitchen and shared spaces. It has a relaxed, social vibe, making it ideal for meeting other travelers, and free breakfast. Overall, it offers very good value for money. And one of the best hostel I have every stayed in."

"The hostel is situated on a hill and not very close to the beach; walking from the beach to the hostel can take around 45 minutes and may be a bit tiring. However, if you have a car, the location is excellent. It may not be ideal if you rely solely on public transport, as some bus connections can be limited, especially on Sundays. Additionally, my bed was in a mixed dorm near the door, which made some noise whenever someone opened it. This could be fixed, as it might otherwise become a little annoying. Otherwise I loved everything."

"It's only a small hostel, so there is a nice, friendly atmosphere; it is not a party place. The owner is also super helpful and kind. As the place is only 1.5 years old, everything is still looking very new and clean. Beds have privacy curtains, there is enough space in the rooms for the luggage and lockers are also available to keep your valuables safe."

Les dortoirs et les pièces communes sont propres et agréables, et l’ambiance est parfaite pour rencontrer d’autres voyageurs. Ça rassemble, ça crée des liens, et on repart avec de super souvenirs. "Anne-Laure, qui gère l’établissement, a été d’une grande gentillesse et d’un précieux soutien. Bien plus qu’un simple hébergement, elle m’a offert une véritable expérience de vie, au-delà de ce que l’on attend d’une auberge. Les autres résidents étaient respectueux, et une belle cohésion de groupe s’est naturellement créée. Les espaces communs sont propres, soignés et accueillants. Plus qu’une auberge, c’est une maison où l’on se sent chez soi dès les premiers instants. Sans aucun doute, j’y reviendrai lors de mon prochain séjour à La Réunion."
