"Breakfast was excellent. Location was good. The choice of breakfast items was very generous. The staff was generally very polite and obliging but some of the younger staff members could do with some training."

"Very beautiful and stylish hotel. Honestly one of the best looking hotels I’ve ever been in. The area is peaceful and so was the hotel. Wide variety when it came to the breakfast and there were 2 restaurants inside the hotel of which I’m sure the food was good (I didn’t try)."

"The staff made us wait for a very long time for our early check-in. He didn’t even bother to let us know as soon as our room was ready. The showers aren’t built in a smart way. The water is at one pressure and the flow rate was quite high so the water would leak through the shower door. Puddles of water would form."

"The amenities and house-keeping was up to par. We ordered the breakfast room-service which was lovely and they had a variety of options to choose from. Our stay here was truly amazing and we will definitely be back."

"One disappointment was that when we asked the front desk (day staff 21 Dec) for suggestions on what to do and see in Doha, they were not helpful at all, actually useless. However, Heinrich from the restaurant truly came to our rescue — he was incredibly kind and proactive, even typing out a list of places to visit and activities to do, and bringing it to us personally. He also recommended the Asian restaurant in the hotel, which we tried and enjoyed. Overall a great stay, and a special thank you to Heinrich for going above and beyond. We hope the hotel will improve front desk guest support."

"Great hospitality, beautiful and clean rooms. Nice restaurants and bars and the location is really great! I traveled to Qatar for the race weekend and the F1 chocolate car in the room was such a nice touch to my stay. Jade at the front desk is very welcoming and professional, Hermione from the restaurant and Stefan and King from the bar have provided great care and service and Abdrahmen was very helpful and fast at resolving a room technical matter. I definitely recommend a stay at Andaz Doha. Thank you for the hospitality"

(Thanks to both Mohammed and Omar for helping us with our luggage). - The rooms are clean and very spacious. - The breakfast was delicious, especially the Poached Eggs. (Thank you Nerfan for the great service). - The hotel overall is very clean. (Later I knew that it recently opened). - The spa is amazing. My wife had a wonderful massage by Ann."

"- The fire alarm was having an issue during our stay and it was bothersome. We had to go down 25 floors to vacate the hotel once and it was a false alarm. - There is no bidet in the bathroom nor a water hose. (The toilet seat has a "modern" water hose that is built in, but it is harder to use to clean)."

"Great service and amazing view from the room. Spacious rooms with double sinks (we were upgraded to a suite but I believe this is the same in all rooms). Location great although the metro station is a bit of a walk in the heat. Ubers are super cheap though so metro not really necessary. We were visiting for F1 and they saw we were watching on the tv so they brought us a chocolate f1 car which was a classy touch."

"The heat in the morning coming through the glass did wake us so make sure to keep the AC on quite cold."
