Três Marias is located in the serene countryside of the Northern Alentejo, just 4 km from Aivados Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Mules , 3 ostriches and 3 donkeys are permanent residents at the hostal. All guest rooms at Três Marias feature white linens and plenty of natural light. Every room has hot drink facilities, an en suite bathroom and direct access to a patio. Rooms are TV-free and Intermantingut is available at common areas. The large breakfast includes fresh fruit, cooked meats, cheeses, eggs and fresh pastries. A set dinner menu is also available and is served in a familiar style, with all guests around a dinning table with a selection of regional dishes complimented by local wines. Três Marias is surrounded by the Agro-forest Ecological Reserve – perfect for exploring on foot, by bicyle (e-MTB, gravel or touring bike). Guests can relax afterwards with a massage, and gaze at the nocturnal sky after sunset. The Três Marias is a perfect base from which to explore the Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina Natural Park. Private parking is free at the allotjament.

"If you want to really disconnect in an oasis in a beautiful and tastefully designed rural setting then this is the place. Set in an isolated farm but with easy access to the lovely towns of Vila Nova de Milfontes and Porto Covo (about 10 minutes drive each). The staff were really helpful and welcoming. Ideal as a stop if you’re doing the Rota Vicentina. Good breakfast, dinner was limited to one vegetarian or normal option which you need to preorder but was tasteful and good value for money. Does not have TV or Aircon which is probably why its not 4 star rated, but this didnt put us off."
"The property is situated along a couple of kilometres of rural unpaved track but this should not put you off. However, I strongly recommend you access it from the CM1072 road as the other access from the east is far longer and bumpier."

"Beautiful property. Stayed in the treehouse with Ostriches and Donkeys in the paddock just below us. Loved sitting on the balcony watching them watching us. Wonderful refreshing pool and great Breakfasts. Lovely laid back lounge area with honesty bar."

"We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location is absolutely stunning — very quiet and peaceful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel very welcome and were always available to assist with anything we needed. A special mention must go to the dinner, prepared by Chef Katarina. It was absolutely delicious — every course was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Definitely recommended."
