"The breakfast was good - fruit juice, cereal, coffee or tea, bread or toast, cakes, cheese, ham, yogurt and fruit. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well looked after, and the grounds very well kept. The bed was comfortable, and the bedroom an ample size, and the balcony was large. The location was beautiful and very quiet."

"The Wi-fi was a bit intermittent. The evening meal at the hotel was expensive, and we couldn't find anywhere in the vicinity (we drove about 7 kms) to have an evening meal (apparently because it was only April and so not yet the tourist season). It was a pity the hotel didn't provide other meal options in the evening. The garden was beautiful but there was no where to sit - it would have been great to have a couple of benches or seats outside. Although the weather was hot for the duration of our stay, unfortunately the water in the swimming pool didn't warm up. The supposedly 'river beach' was not a proper beach you could sit on, and the river was too dangerous to swim in."

"We loved the setting , overlooking a river and only a short walk from a delightful river beach. The property is well-maintained and the staff/owners were very accommodating . Breakfast was better than I was expecting, with fresh orange juice and fruit, among other treats."

"There is only a glass door between the bed and the shower, which means there's little privacy."

"The Garden, the location, the staff, the pool, the riverside, the restaurant with mountain view and sunset. Very clean. Everything was excellent."

"Everything! The house is big, the view from the room and the terasse is amazing (one of the best we had in many years of travelling). The area is fabulous, there is a beautiful "praia fluvial" just at 2minutes walking. There is a nice swimming pool. The staff is really nice and we could do the check in a bit earlier (with 3small kids, it's precious). The breakfast is very good! The restaurant too. Don't hesitate to go there, you won't regret!"

"The whole place was clean, i stayed in a 2 bedroom house and it was perfect for the family. The food was Amazing and the owners where very welcoming. Great place to relax and connect with Nature."

"I have a couple of food allergies, one of which is wheat (gluten intolerance). Virtually everything on the breakfast bar was a bread product of some kind. Without our even having to ask, the manager prepared a nice plate of sliced fruit which was very accommodating."

"The small wooden bistro chairs on the terrace were VERY uncomfortable to sit on for more that 5-10 minutes. One of the major reasons for selecting this cottage was it's great view, so not having any comfortable seating made enjoying that view difficult. We wound up driving to a home store and purchasing a couple of folding patio chairs so that we could enjoy the terrace. Everything about the cottage was clean and really quite nice. Unfortunately, there was a nasty smell in the bathroom which never went away. I suspect it was coming from the septic system."

"- The view - The people who run the place are very available and are doing their best. - The house we stayed is spacious and equipped. - Located near a great river beach."

"- The house we stayed in is located far from the main building and there was no Wi-Fi in the room. - Some of the facilities are tired. - There was a very bad smell coming from the toilet. The staff tried to take care of it and succeeded only for intervals. It had a major affect on our stay. - The breakfast includes mainly sweet pastry. It was with good quality for those who want that. - There were no vegetables and only 2 kinds of fruit. - The air condition is only in the main area. It didn’t reach the bedroom or the gallery."
