La Quinta do Caneiro - Gerês es troba al parc nacional de Peneda-Gerês, en una vil·la tranquil·la preciosa amb accés directe a la presa de Caniçada. La vil·la està situada en un entorn natural, extremadament proximitat nombroses rutes de senderisme. Aquesta vil·la disposa d'aire condicionat, llar de foc, bany complet amb jacuzzi, TV, reproductor de DVD, cuina equipada i zona de menjador independent. Conjuntament té balcó i terrassa amb vistes al llac, el jardí i la massís. A la Quinta do Caneiro hi ha una cuina totalment equipada amb microones, forn, nevera, cafetera i rentavaixella. A Més hi trobareu una terrassa àmplia amb barbacoa. La vil·la té un jardí a l'aire lliure i es troba en un entorn natural frondós, on podreu fer senderisme i anar en bicicleta. A menys de 10 minuts en cotxe de la casa igualment podreu anar en vaixell i practicar diferents esports aquàtics, com ara piragüisme, esquí aquàtic i moto aquàtica. Les fonts termals de Gerês es troben a 15 minuts en cotxe. A 44 minuts en cotxe a més trobareu la localitat històrica de Braga, on podreu visitar diversos llocs d'interès cultural, com ara la coneguda Sé de Braga. L'aeroport internacional de Porto és a 75 minuts amb cotxe de la Quinta do Caneiro.

"This house at that location is just a little paradise. The access via a pretty steep and narrow road is a little challenging - it is therefore good, to rent a car, which is not too big. The location directly at the Rio Caldo is great, you can go swimming every day - even in October. the furnishing shows a lot of taste of the owner Miguel - he is btw very friendly and super pragmatic - we loved the stay in his house a lot and are already discussing to come back."

"Location is simply outstanding, very quiet. The house made of stone, so it is pleasantly cool inside even in a hot day. You got direct and private access to the river thus the air is fresh.The interior is top notch and decorations are authentic. Amenities are modern enough. There is an outside fireplace for cooking and a separate stone oven for pizza and such."
"Last 15m of the road to get there. Quite steep and narrow. But fret not, our car 1.8 liters FWD with 130mm of clearance did just fine there even with 4 people inside. Just don't bring your Ferrari sedans there :)"
"Amazing location with direct access to the river Caldo and short drive to the public beach of Alqueirão that has several amenities. The property is gorgeous and very comfortable for 6 people. The hosts were great and always contactable. The final access to the property is through a steep narrow road, takes some skill at first but once used to it it's OK. We spent most days just down on the river next to the house as it felt like a private beach."
