"The location amazing. Room very clean but bed on the small size and shower tiny. However the Staff and Food more than compensated and would definitely stay again. Pool lovely but very cold really needs to be heated"

"Very kind and helpful staff and owners. Went out of their way to cater for gluten free meals. Evening meal highly to be recommended. Had they not have been booked up for one night during our prospective stay we would have spent the whole of our time at this location."

"It was in the country. For some too far out but we didn't fight for parking and it was easy to find. The breakfast was plentiful and great assortment of dishes. Dinner was excellent. Bedding and towels great."

"Loved the refreshing pool with sun loungers. Quiet location with lovely views but also close to the town. Very classy place with a spacious bedroom,& use of a lounge area where we could have tea. The breakfast buffet was varied ,& plentiful with cereals, juice, cold meat, cheeses, fruit, cake & yoghurt. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Great glass of wine too!"

"Everything was perfect, nice and clean, so we enjoyed our stay a lot! The only minus is that the swimming pool is closing in the afternoon, so you cannot use it in the evening when it’s a bit darker"

"Wifi was very poor in our room. We were unable to get a meal the next night, because we were too late at 18.00 to book it, the day before we booked at a similar time. Chef should keep some ready meals in the freezer for occasions like this. The lovely waitress did however make us a toastie and provide a glass of wine."

"That the exceptional port served at supper is "unlabelled" so I cannot order it some now that I have arrived home. They are happy to sell it in five litre plastic containers - but I was on a bike. Tragic !!"
