"I liked everything. The location is on the edge of the historic centre, so that the sights are very comfortably within walking distance. The hotel itself is on low, flat territory, with the hilly part starting in the next block. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The beds are extremely comfortable, with moderately firm mattresses. Our room (315, I think) had a lovely view onto the adjacent hilly town centre, including the university and churches.The breakfast was plentiful, and delicious (egg, yoghurts, cheeses, meats, bread, cakes, biscuits, fruit, juices, tea and coffee). "Strategic location, comfy mattress & pillows, quiet room. Great hospitality from all staffs and owner, especially Carla and Raquel. Good simple breakfast with fresh fruits mostly from the owner's garden. Free bus to Coimbra B station at the Hotel doorstep."

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
