"It’s an older building in a city centre so having windows open to provide ventilation incurs a noisy environment. It did not spoil our stay."

"Great location on central plaza next to restaurants, shops, bikes, etc. Room was a good size, huge comfy bed and nice touch replacing the bottled water each day. Lounge/ breakfast room was nice with view over the Rossio plaza. Breakfast selection was limited but good fruit, meats, breads, etc as well as juice and cava for mimosas."

"The reception was on 1st floor and had to walk up stairs to get to the lift. Not a big issue for us and seems to be common in city centre hotels with shops below."

"The location was very good. It was a convient location with lots of activities around. The room was clean, but seems like the heating was not on. The toilet was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very nice and helpful."

"The hotel room was large and immaculately clean, sheets and towels changed every day. Piping hot water irrespective of what time we had a shower. Plenty of soap and shower gel, replaced daily. There is a balcony giving wonderful views of Rossio Square up to the castle The reception was manned 24 hours per day and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, speaking perfect English and of course, Portuguese. The breakfast was served from 07:30, but 1 day we were going on a trip and they opened early for us. Scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, cheese and meats and a good selection of breads and pastries, yoghurt, breakfast cereal, in fact every thing you would want. We 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get a bit of luxury in the centre of Lisbon. I see some complained about the noise, it did not bother us at any time, and it is right bang in the centre, you would expect a wee bit of noise!"
