One of the oldest hostals in Porto, Lloc D'estada do Norte features free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour reception. Some of the bright rooms have a private terrace with a view of Capela das Almas Church, with its ornate blue and white façade. Bicycle rental is available and the property can arrange car rental. Porto São Bento Train Station is 10 minutes’ walk and the city’s Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is 13 km away. The Guindais Funicular is located at a 10-minute walk and it can take guests to visit the Ribeira area by the Douro River.

"Està molt ben situat, al carrer comercial Santa Catarina. Està equipat per poder cuinar, rentar roba i estendre-la en un terrat que hi ha a dalt de l'edifici."
"Potser no té una comfortabilitat per estar hores a dins, però, per fer parada i fonda, és més que satisfactori. La dutxa és antiga, aprofita una banyera amb seient, que fa sigui incòmode i petit, jo proposaria posar un plat de dutxa."
"We have stayed at Hotel do Norte before, which is a beautiful big old building in the centre of Porto, but this time we booked an apartment. It was just round the corner, only a few minutes walk away. We were on the 4th floor, there is a lift, but it only goes from the 1st floor, so please be aware there are some stairs involved. The apartment was great, we were only there for one night so didn't really take full advantage of the facilities, but it was well equipped and very comfortable. Brilliant Wifi."

"A small point for older visitors. The hotel is an old building with several buildings. There is no lift, so access to upper floors 4/5 is via a staircase and then other flights of stairs."
