"The hotel is situated in a good location with easy access to numerous restaurants, places of interest ie Fortaleza de Sao Filipe. Our room (situated in the annex) was clean and comfortable. A varied and well presented breakfast was provided by friendly helpful staff."
"The shower was not an enclosed cubicle and therefore water just escaped all over the bathroom floor. Messy and potentially dangerous!"

"The location -walking distance to the beach was great. Peaceful atmosphere, very chill. Very well equipped with everything you need. Magnificent views from the room. Friendly staff, although it was off-season so everything was a little slow."

"The proprietor was wonderful. The common outside areas were very beautiful. The common inside area was a museum—-super interesting. The restaurant was very, very good! Fantastic! The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
