Surrounded by cork trees and pine groves, Casa Vicentina is a family-run hostal full of character, built using ecological materials. Set within a natural park, it’s 3 km from Odeceixe Beach. Housed in a former Taipa farm, rooms at the property feature a private entrance and a porch overlooking the outdoor pool. They combine a rustic décor with actual furnishings, satellite TV channels and free Wi-Fi. A hot buffet breakfast is served daily and incorporates fresh fruits and Algarve specialities. Cafés and menjadors are located in Odeceixe, which can be reached with free-of-charge bikes in 15 minutes. Casa Vincentina adreça is ubicated beside a natural lake, close to the border of the Alentejo Region and a few minutes’ drive from the Atlantic Coast. Staff can facilitate horse riding in the natural surroundings.

"There were lots of families with young children and it was quite chaotic a breakfast time. Noisy. Although it was August the mornings were cool and windy therefore everyone sat inside. Unfortunately not too many tables. The food offered was good and instantly re-filled."
