Aurora’s staff can help book activities around the area and arrange a rental car, which can be parked for free on site. Alternatively, guests can explore the region by bike. Close to the beaches in Luz and Burgau, Aurora Sol is a great base for exploring the western Algarve. The coastal tourist village of Praia da Luz is just 1 km from Aurora Sol, and the centre of the historic city of Lagos is 6 km away.

"It was such a wonderful location! There’s parking available. The place was super clean, and the room smelled amazing. The host was incredibly kind and approachable—so sweet that he got up immediately to help us with our very heavy luggage! The women who cleaned the rooms were also very lovely. The garden was very pleasant, although the pool water was a bit cold—but we were there in October, so maybe that’s why. Apart from that, I had a really wonderful time here. Thank you!"

"Very kind and thoughtful staff. The room and bedding were very comfortable; there was a lovely private terrace where one could sit and which also had a small clothes drying rack (which was very convenient). Nice location, easy free parking, nice TV and streaming options for relaxing at night."
