"The hotel was well placed, easy to find, central without being in the centre of the tourist area. My room.was clean. The staff members I met were polite and helpful. The breakfast was lovely."

"I was disappointed that there was no water, or tea and coffee making facilities in my room. I had got these as standard in the other hotels I stayed in during my trip to Portugal, and this hotel was the most expensive. Furthermore, the place was tiny, with just enough space in the bathroom to close the door. There was no hook for the bath towel, and the only toiletries supplied were a tiny bar of soap and one little bottle of shampoo - again, shower gel had been supplied in the other hotels. Lastly, the lighting was pretty awful, not anywhere as bright as was needed to read in bed."

"Ponte De Lima is totally gorgeous and this hotel enable you to walk over the ancient, historic bridge, right into the centre of everything. The staff are lovely and it's a nice hotel, in a great location that's good value for money."

"The hotel location would be perfect, a short walk across the beautiful bridge into the medieval town! Very good selection of restaurants and places to drink. The hotel was spotless and the staff were amazing!"

"It can be a bit noisy as you can hear everything thats happening outside your room all the way to downstairs. The church bells ring at exactly 7am and go off every 15 mins for the day!!! They are just across from the hotel so its loud, regardless of if your windows are open or not! Not great if you are trying to sleep.Its not mentioned anywhere on any information posts about the area or hotel site and i understand why, if we knew about how loud these bells are we would have stayed elsewhere"

"The locations was like a picture postcard. On the banks of the river, next to the old roman bridge, and a very short walk to the beautiful town streets. There was no traffic, and the buildings were beautiful."

"Although there was nothing I didn;t like, the room and the bathroom were quite small, but this was in line with the pricing and it was big enough for an enjoyable stay."
