"Nostalgic. It brought me back to my grandmother's house. We PICKED AND ATE FRUITS, picked and used herbs in the plates I cooked. At the same time in the rear an amazing pool. Slept with the doors and windows wide open. There was a freshness and breeze to die for. You can hang out all day in a hammock or sweep the Batey with a home made broom. Amazing."

"There was an accident somewhere near took out a light pole and the and took down the electrical power to the sector. Owner responded fairly quick brought generator which allowed for use of light fridge and TV. The generator was loud but after a while you got use to it. Unforseen and uncontrollable circumstance that did not have anything to do with the care and maintenance by the owner."

"The uniqueness of it really being a throw back to yester years brought back many childhood memories"

"-Very clean! -The host left a gift for us which is very nice. -Raul was very helpful! -There’s a lot of attention to detail here it was very good!! -As a chef, the outdoor kitchen area was HEAVEN!! We definitely got a feel from the past how our parents and grandparents lived."

"-The sleeping pillows were very uncomfortable. -We appreciate security, but we didn’t like that there’s a camera facing the pool in the back, as someone with a family & girls it was kind of uncomfortable. -The pool is not heated unfortunately so if it’s not very hot outside it’s like a cold plunge. -Definitely bring an SUV or higher ride car here, the drive is not easy & theres alot of big holes on the road up a low ride car may get serious damage."

"This cabin was absolutely beautiful. Walking in the entire place smelled SO clean, which is always a great feeling to have upon checking in somewhere. The views were amazing. There was so much there, between the hammocks, dishes for cooking and eating, tv's, views, games, old school radios (they work too!) They even had life vests and goggles for the kids to swim. They had welcome gifts, coffee just the whole 9! You can tell this host is extremely thoughtful. I had absolutely no issue communicating with him. 10/10 stay! :)"

"Upon arrival it was very dark and as a female I was a little nervous and apprehensive. Especially because the windows are either open and you can see everything, or closed and you cant see anything. But I'm naturally an anxious person and the anxiety quickly subsided as I felt extremely safe here!! The only other thing was that the GPS (apple or Google maps) didn't work at all and sent us out of our way and on very scary roads in the mountains. If you want to get there easily and without hassle put Ferreteria agricola pena, then follow that same road until you reach Gomera Abraham, turn right on that road and go all the way up until you see the signs that direct you to the cabin."

"Entre los árboles, montañas y una hermosa piscina nos encontramos con un lugar único que nos transportó a los tiempos de antes en especial a mi viejita, sus ojitos le brillaban al ver tantos recuerdos, tanta hermosura en un sólo lugar. 🥹 Las atenciones, sencillez y humildad de su propietario Jaime fueron a otro nivel. Un gran ser humano que hasta se subió a los árboles de panapen y aguacate para obsequiarle algunos a mi viejita y a nosotros. No puedo dejar atrás a Raúl, administrador de tan hermoso paraíso. Siempre estuvo accesible por si necesitábamos algo. En fin, no hay nada mejor que llegar a un lugar mega limpio, poder respirar aire puro, escuchar el cantar de los coquies, mientras nuestra hermosa bandera de 🇵🇷 flota con el viento, parece que quisiera arroparnos ♥️🤍💙 Gracias Jaime y Raúl por permitirnos disfrutar de tan hermoso paraíso. Dlb !!! Volveremos pronto si así Dios lo permite."
