"We have been staying at Hetman Hotel for several years, a few times every year. The location is perfect if you aren't afraid of walking - around 20 minutes by walk to Old Town or Novy Swiat. The Old Praga district around the hotel is probably the hippest in town, very artistic and rapidly developing. The hotel itself is a classical building, refurbished but with a strong, authentic feel of the end of 19 century. Car's street parking is much easier than in the central part of Warsaw as well. Rooms are of good size, and room service is done daily, which is an excellent practice for a 3* hotel. The price is very competitive - always slightly lower than on the other Wistula shore in a central district."
"We got a room with a freshly repaired shower - great news, just some equipment and materials have a bit of a budget feel (some shower plastics, shower mixer from Ikea, etc). Everything worked well, though. Not a big deal, just a bit contrasting with the classic "old school" hotel image. Rooms being cleaned daily is a great thing. Just on different days shower's cleaning was of variable quality. Light unpleasant smell in a shower, probably from the toilet pipes."

"I’ve stayed here before, good to return to a familiar place. The rooms are clean with an excellent shower. The room was just a little warm this time around, better that than too cold. The breakfast is excellent too!"
