"The room wasn’t nice to stay in for a long time as it was very dark. Unfortunately I experienced 2 rainy days while there and staying inside the dark room wasn’t that pleasant. The AC was very loud and switched it off at night as couldn’t hear my alarm in the morning. There was a laundry line outside of the tiny window and any sunlight/daylight was blocked by the drying laundry. Next time I would book the more expensive resort as otherwise you don’t see any daylight when inside."

"Perfect location, easy walking distance to the centre of the town with all the restaurants/parties, but quiet at night. It's affiliated to the Tipolo Resort and you can use their beach/facilities. Restaurant is nice and we booked tours through them (and loved it). It was super clean."

"We come back to Tipolo Guesthouse for a reason - it’s superb. The room is so well laid out that it feels much more spacious than it really is. Shelving, seating and the various cubby holes mean you can store all your snorkelling gear, clothes and luggage out of the way. Spacious bathroom with constant hot water seals the deal. Drying racks and a wrap around communal balcony meant we could move wet gear about to catch the sun. Tipolo Guesthouse is linked to Tipolo Resort with its beach access, restaurant, garden, terrace and all the Planet Action activities. When you take use of all these added amenities into account, choosing Tipolo Guesthouse is a no-brainer. Love the location too."
