"The apartment was nice and clean. We drank the water in the room and also flushed our teeth with the sink water and everything was ok :) The host offered us to rent a bike for a very reasonable price and also a pickup from the port for 300 pesos"

"I had some difficulties with the shower because it's hard to adjust the water temperature and also the water goes everywhere in the bathroom. Besides, the toilet got clogged but a nice lady got it fixed very quickly (and probably it was our fault overall)"

"This place is close to everything yet very serene, the chicken don't scream in the morning and it is the perfect place for a relaxing night of sleep. The landlady is sweet, you have your own fridge with a freezer, and can use your own balcony kitchen if you want to make some food for yourself. AC and fan are working fine, hot water is amazing, no power outage, stable WIFI. I get why its booked out all the time, i concider myself lucky to have gotten it for a night😊"

"Nothing major, the place was a gem. Minimal contact with bugs (there were some ants that got in through the bottom of the door, but with a little bit of wet toilet paper the problem can be solved easily in 5 minutes), and it is sill less of a "wildlife situation" than many of the 3-4 thousand peso fancy places in the neighborhood. No mosquitos or geckos, just friendly chicks that visit the balcony in the morning :-) The road to the room is not well lit and the place doesnt have a sign on the main road, so get familiar with it during the day!"

"The place is brand new. The apartment is located in a quiet area in the countryside, and just a short walk to the main road where we could catch a TukTuk. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable with good pillows. There is a private toilet, which is small but comfortable and have a very nice hot shower. It was nice to have our own kitchen. The Kitchen is basic but there is all you need. Wifi was good (see picture). The host is very friendly and the communication was easy. And we enjoyed our stay."

"At the moment (Jan 2025) they are working on building the garden wall, so there were construction workers in the garden. But they were friendly and not very noisy."

"Симпатичный небольшой отельчик на 4 номера. 2 номера для пар и 2 семейных. Своя кухня с посудой на веранде. Замечательный персонал. Попросили байк - пригнали через 15 минут. Чистый бассейн. Ухоженная территория. До отличного пляжа 3 км. Рядом магазинчики, местные буфеты со вкусной и недорогой едой. До Сан-Хуана (туса) - 7 км."

"Маленький санузел. Душ не отделен никак. Вода льется на унитаз. Скользко. Надо бы что-то на пол постелить. От главной дороги метров 400. Дорога ужасная. И для ходьбы, и для байков. Глина, ухабы, лужи в дождь, нет света на ней. Но это не вина отеля."

"Расположение - разбитая дорога к дому, вы находитесь в глухом лесу, без байка неподходящий вариант. В номере тёк холодильник, была дыра в крыше в туалете, через которую залетали комары. Хост на месте не говорит по-английски, тяжело решать вопросы. У нас была проблема с шумной вечеринкой, хост нас просто игнорировала, и только после того, как я отправила сообщение через Booking, она пошла и попросила гостей быть потише. Главный минус отеля - несмотря на то, что в условиях указан запрет на проведение вечеринок, по сути, это party house. Может нам неповезло с датами - мы останавливались в новогодние праздники, но почти каждый день в отель заселялась компания и устраивала вечеринку. Апогеем стала вечеринка, на которую съехалось человек 20, они стояли и болтали прямо возле нашей террасы, а часть гостей очень громко пели и кричали, пили алкоголь и если возле бассейна. Это выглядело так, словно они арендовали весь отель целиком. Если будете останавливаться в маленьких номерах в выходные, будьте готовы к вечеринкам."

"My stay at Olliz Huvila was perfect! Great value, AC, hot water, and cooking facilities. Also great location not far from Paliton Beach and just a few quick minutes into the main strip of San Juan. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. Staff were very nice as well. Highly recommended for your trip to Siquijor."
