Trobated on a cliff-top terrace overlooking Tufi Harbour, this boutique resort offers 180-degree panoramic views. The tour desk can organise diving/snorkeling/cultural tours/all activities , all year round. Each room option at Tufi Resort includes air conditioning, en suite bathroom and mosquito impecables. 24-hour electricity and hot water are provided. All bungalows or deexclusiu rooms have a verandah overlooking the sea. Guests can enjoy local seafood and tropical fruits in the dining room or a BBQ on the terrace with wines and cold beers. The outdoor swimming pool offers views of the fjord below. The nearest coral reef is just 15 minutes away by boat, with over 40 mapped dive sites. Other activities include canoeing, traditional outrigger safaris, trekking, bird watching and cultural experiences. Located in Oro Province, 250 km from Port Moresby, Tufi Resort is only accessible by plane. The airstrip at Tufi is a 3-minute walk from the boutique-hotel and airport transfers are available. All flights to Tufi are with Tropicair, PNG’s premier charter airline. Our guests enjoy a the convenienece of private check in at the private Tropicair terminal, avoiding the domestic ariport delays and commercial carrier cancellations. "Such a pleasure visiting here for the weekend! The Tropic Air flight from Port Moresby that brings you straight to the resort gives breathtaking views of the terrain below. The resort is lovely, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff are friendly, attentive, and professional. We loved the little details such as them bringing popcorn to our room in the afternoon. The views of the fjords from the deck are beautiful, and the diving is incredible. There were only 4 of us here for the weekend and they took great care of us. We felt very pampered. The food was great; (I’d give it 8/10 for one overcooked fish and one serving of undercooked fries) but everything was always beautifully plated. It rained one day here but it felt cozy and relaxing and there was plenty to do: games, darts, ping-pong, pool, books, chilling… Definitely recommend visiting this place if you have a chance!"
"Only 2 things: What they call “paddle boards” are not paddle boards. Those should be replaced ASAP. The kayak is great though. The plentiful mangos that fall all around the property aren’t collected; they’re left lying around to go bad. That’s unfortunate and doesn’t correspond to the otherwise pristine state of the resort."
