"Lovely room with it's own terrace and a great view of the sea. Staff and other travellers were nice. This was my only place with a shared bathroom and the bathrooms were for a shared facility very clean. Breakfast was good only a bit late. There is a kitchen you can use"
"Perhaps a better introduction into the workings of the kitchen. I wanted to make a tea one evening after the staff was gone and didn't know how to switch the cooker on as it was on bottled gas. I could have asked the next day but didn't bother"
"Such an amazing place! We ended up extending for an extra week because we loved the place. The location is perfect, you can check the waves from the various terraces and it’s surfable everyday with very little crowds. Nice variety of boards and professional and tailored lessons. Chill vibes and very friendly staff, volunteers and guests, couldn’t recommend more! Will definitely go back"

"La Cabaña de Huerta Mar es un ambiente acogedor que brinda calidez y calma. Los anfitriones son personas muy amables y atentas a cualquier necesidad. Cuentan con una huerta adorable y unos acompañantes de cuatro patas cariñosos. Los techos elevados de la casa hacen que se mantenga el ambiente lo suficientemente fresco a comparación de la sensación térmica que se percibe al exterior. Considero que es un ambiente excepcional para quienes buscan un refugio hogareño y calmado. Linda experiencia :)"

"The pool was pristine, very well looked after and warm! Staff were friendly, we were the only guests for most of our stay because of it being rainy season and just outside of carnival time when it was fully booked. There are a number of animals (dog, cats etc.) which are also very keen to get to know you! It's right on the beach and while you can't enter the sea as it's very choppy, it's nice to walk along. You can also sit on covered seats on the beach and watch the sun go down. Food didn't make us ill which is always a bonus. Bed was massive and shower was really powerful."

"The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant is excellent and the staff very helpful. There is secure parking (gate in front is closed at night). The downtown shops and markets are a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is easy to find on the main road on the north side of town. There appeared to be a drinks bar on the property but not integrated with the hotel or restaurant."
