"The staff seemed to be paranoid about locking the front gate, so I often had to wait around to be let in or out. (Moyobamba is not a dangerous place, so unsure about why this was.) They also didn't provide any drinking water or have any for sale."

"The owners of this hotel are incredibly kind and welcoming, and they’ve decorated the place beautifully with great attention to detail. Despite the language barrier (I don’t speak much Spanish), they were more than happy to give me excellent tips about the local area and recommend some amazing spots for food. When I accidentally left my AirPods behind, they went above and beyond by chasing me down on a motorcycle to the bus station just to return them. Such incredible hospitality! If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-like atmosphere, this is the perfect place to stay!"
