"Location was excellent folks were super nice. Who were there? Great view. Have breakfast was on the road working but overall would stay there again would like to take them up on the scuba diving opportunities. Didn’t get to do that this time."

"We spent four nights at Las Lajas Beach Resort, and we absolutely loved it. The hotel is located right on the beautiful beach of Playa Las Lajas. This vast beach is truly breathtaking, especially at sunset, when the sky fills with stunning colors. It is perfect for family swimming as well as for learning to surf. The property is human-sized, well organized, and carefully maintained. The kindness of the staff is truly one of the establishment’s greatest strengths. The entire team is warm and attentive. The food and cocktails are good, and the prices remain reasonable for a hotel. We were able to rent surfboards directly at the reception. The manager made herself available to arrange a horseback riding tour for us, guided by Gama, a local native who passionately shared his love for the area. It was a wonderful experience. We highly recommend Las Lajas Beach Resort."

"Excellent Inn/ B&B in Santa Clara. Small accomadation with only 3 rooms set around a swimming pool. Run by a French couple it’s a very quiet and restful place. Pool and garden is excellent. They have 7 cats - who are delightful but mostly sleep in various places around the pool. The breakfast is excellent mostly home made items. - Fruit, homemade yoghurt, crepes or croissants, home made bread and jams and eggs if you want them. Good airconditioning hot water, coffee maker. The beach is about 20-25 minutes walk. Beautiful light coloured sand. There is no parking at the beach unless you go to one of the cafe/ restaurants ( to use the facilities it is 3 dollars unless you are eating or drinking). There is a very good Spanish restaurant near to the B&B beside the main road. We also visited another good restaurant in Farallon. It is easy to visit El Valle from Santa Clara about an hour away."
