"This stay was the best thing in our trip. For real! Firs of all - the host Ali. Most amazing person ever. We were so happy to meet him, gave a lot of tips and advices what to see nearby. Also did hike with him - without Ali it would be impossible to complete, but most amazing hike ever!!! And hey people, this is not a luxury villa, but its an experience, this is how you feel this country. Outside fireplace with a lot of stars in a sky, goats sounds in the morning and peace. Also jebel shams canyon is very near. When I come back to Oman, would definitely stay here again!"

The property owner is a registered tour guide which helped us a lot in seeing essential places without wandering around and had the best experience after many years during our hike with our personal guide staying beside us. "We had a wonderful stay at Jabal Shams Villa. It was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed making a fire, grilling meats, and spending the evenings watching the stars, which was a peaceful and memorable experience. In addition to our stay, we arranged for Ali to take us on the Balcony Walk hike and to Wadi Ghul, which was an absolute highlight of our trip to Oman. Ali ensured our safety on the hikes and provided interesting information about the local area. Ali is super friendly, attentive and has great communication, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We highly recommend both the villa and Ali to anyone visiting the area!"

"Ali and his nephew Yunus were incredible hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay as lovely and perfect as possible. The night we arrived, Yunus accompanied us to a cute little restaurant to get some food and make sure we're safe on the curvy roads as it was already dark. We weren't aware that we had to pay in cash and didn't carry enough OMR to pay for the night immediately. Ali was so kind about this and made sure we could pay the next day at a restaurant that was on our way back to Muscat. He also showed us where we could wash our car, made sure we weren't overcharged and took us to a beautiful viewpoint while we were waiting for our car. We had already experienced that the Omani hospitality is really amazing, but Ali and his family really took the cake. They are such wonderful people and I would definitely recommend staying with them!"

"We really enjoyed our stay in this villa. Ali is a very friendly and helpful host. The villa had everything we needed for bbq’ing: grills, carpets, cutlery - just everything you need for a nice night outside. Really recommend if you’re planning a visit to Jebel Shams!"

"Ali is an attentive host. He also offers guided tours (which we found to be excellent), helps plan your own trips and shows wonderful places to eat. He also gave us tips for our further journey through oman and answered any questions about the country and culture we could think of. The villa is comfortable, has a nice garden to sit, eat or for stargazing. But the best thing might be the view. We had a wonderful time!"

"This accomodation is owned by a lovely guy named Ali - he is very friendly, informative, caring also works as a tour guide (we also used his services). It is in a nice environment - tiny village in the mountains. It was very clean, has an equiped kitchen and a nice garden. Do keep in mind that it is in the middle of nothing, so there is no possibility to eat out or buy groceries - do bring those with you. No breakfast."

"Only thing I can think of is that the beds are a little harder, so that might not be for everybody, otherwise everything perfect."
