"The location was great, perfect to reach everything in Nizwa on foot. We really appreciated the aesthetics of the place: the furniture, small details, roof terrace and a great view. Those who like such things will enjoy this accommodation. The beds were very comfy too. We didn’t have breakfast there, as we felt that there were enough good options around."

"We loved our 2-night stay at Bait Alharah. It's located just behind Nizwa Fort, so everything is really close-by. We loved that it only took us a few minutes walking to get everywhere within the old town. Bait Alharah has its own rooftop terrace which was lovely. The value for money is fantastic. Haitham, the receptionist, was super nice and reactive."

"The room itself was small, but clean. The toilet/shower room was also tight, but it was fine for us. Especially because we wanted to stay in a restored traditional house. Parking is a bit of a challenge: the hotel has its own parking, but there are limited places and you have to drive through the old town. We had a small car so it was fine."

"I was quite lucky to grab this last minute deal right before embarking on my trip to Nizwa. The idea of staying in unique locations always holds more appeal than expensive chain hotels. Bait Alharah lived up to my expectation with its traditional architecture, rooftop terrace and quirky decorations. The location next to Nizwa Fort makes it ideal for visiting nearby attractions like Al Aqr Old town and Nizwa Souq. Meals are not included but there are plenty of options around (highly recommend Athar Cafe for breakfast). I would like to give a big thumbs up to Saif for storing our bags prior to check-in 👍👍"

"A cozy, authentic little hotel right in the heart of the city. The view of Nizwa Fort from the rooftop terrace is absolutely wonderful."

"Unfortunately, the bathroom is very uncomfortable. The floor drainage is poor, so when you take a shower, the whole bathroom gets flooded. No single cabinet or any place in the bathroom to place our stuff (cosmetics, hygienic things), so we had to keep it on the floor. There was also an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. In addition, there are no bedside tables next to the bed, which was a bit inconveniet"

"One room, the twin, was too small for us. No room to unpack and the shower room was very small with a sink over the toilet cistern. However, we should have mentioned this at the outset and we could have changed rooms. As it happened we were changed to a much better room for our last of the three nights at no extra charge."

"A road leading to the house is pretty narrow. If you don’t like such roads, you can leave your car at a very ample parking about 300 meters from the property."
