"The location is very good with lovely views of both the palm groves and mountains. It is a good base from which to drive to misfat alabriyn or jabal shams. Sunset view from the terrace was great, with the water feature in the background creating peaceful sound. The breakfast is basic but tasty, especially the fresh fruit."

"We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation and the people were absolutely lovely. We were warmly welcomed with Omani coffee and dates, and the hosts kindly helped us with an adapter and a Wi-Fi issue. The design of the place, especially the terraces, is superb, and the views are stunning. The room was simple but comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, it was a great stay."

"An amazingly comfortable accommodation in a stunning setting. Great views and a comfortable room. Although there are few restaurants in easy walking distance, the town is a short drive away or you can get good food delivered from a local restaurant. I stayed here for three nights while in Al Hamra for the Hajar Ultramarathon and had a great time. Staff are very friendly and there is a really nice coffee shop on the premises with a fantastic view over the valley and mountains."

"Great location with beautiful views from the terrace. Owner very nice and helpful. Good starting point for visiting the mountains as well as nearby forts and castles. Not to miss Bahla fort and Jabreen castle (we liked these much more than the one in Nizwa). Very cute coffee place 5 minutes walking in the oasis."

"Room could be a bit cleaner (and maybe offer cleaning for stays longer than 2 nights). Breakfast was fine but often ran out of things and coffee was to be paid extra."

"Very nice hotel. It’s a family home converted to a hotel. A lot of the family antiques are displayed throughout the hotel. The owner was super friendly and gave us a gift when we checked in. The room we chose had view of the mountain and it was magical watching the sunrise. Worth paying extra. Breakfast was good and if you want americano (extra charge), they make a very good coffee"
