"The room I've stayed in had thin walls and therefore was very noisy. I could hear everything from both bathrooms next door and the window didn't close properly, so I've heard all the noisy air conditioners (?) from outside. Also, the fan in my room could use a good clean - didn't want to turn it on due to all the dust on it (it can also become a fire hazard)."

"A wonderful place to stay at❣️ Great kitchen to cook in, spacious sitting-areas and our big comfortable twin bedroom made us feel very satisfied! And the staff was absolutely fantastic helping us out with everything: where to park for free, the tours we did and suggested nice places to eat at! We stayed there for five nights and really loved it😀"

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."
