"Lovely place to stay with a stunning view. Kitchen was well equipped with everything that was needed. Adie was friendly and there was a lot of info available for things to do in the area. Nice outside table which feels private to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet."
"Nothing I didn't like, everything was perfect. Possibly some guests might not enjoy the stairs to the bedroom upstairs, as they are quite steep, but I had no problem with these at all."
"Amazing place to stay! Comfortable bed and great location, just out of town. Not too far of a drive into Masterton. Very relaxing and a great view of the town and mountains. Freshly baked muffins in the cabin was a lovely touch. Made to feel very welcome by the host. Would stay here again if I find myself in Masterton again. Enjoyed the board games that were available."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"
