"I loved the general atmosphere of this colourful welcoming hostel. So far I have stayed two times. There were enough facilities, nice kitchen and garden with leisure area. There is mint growing in the garden for tea, etc. The staff was helpful, a young woman for the afternoon/evening shift the most. When I stated a problem a solution was offered which is great. In this case it was regarding cleaning (which was not the case when I stayed first time), I was offered another room and I was told that the issue will be discussed with the cleaning team next day. I really liked that the kitchen is closed after 10 pm, so it limits the noise at night. Overall it was always nice and quiet stay for good money."
"The road can be noisy at times but it's not the hostel's fault. Just bring ear plugs, you never know if your roomate for the night might snore anyway. The deck's floor (veranda) would use some maintance and the bushes are slowly taking it as well. The Villa is not new but overall clean with warm atmosphere. I would stay again."

"Old house with a lot of charm. The kitchen has everything you need and there are a lot of nice places to sit outside in the garden. Our room had enough space for us and I liked the extra sink, so you don't need to use the shared bathroom for brushing teeths etc.... They offered free breakfast, which was nice, as we didn't know beforehand. It's "just" toast and jam, but nevertheless nice to have. We really liked it there."

"Really nice accommodation, lovely design, great communal areas outside and inside. Tea and coffee provided as well as a small breakfast in the morning which was a nice touch. Lovely garden to just sit outside in the sun. Even a small hot tub for anyone to use."

"The shared dorm was very spacious and clean. The kitchen and lounge area were very well organised and cosy, also very spacious. The garden area was great and I spent a lot of time there, eating al my meals outside which was lovely."

"Great location in central Picton, just a 5min walk from the terminal! The villa has lovely gardens and picnic tables to enjoy. The kitchen is good and the lounge is comfy! The dorms were pretty basic but still had plugs beside the beds. They also have loads of information of tours and activities to do in Picton! The laundry was also pretty cheap compared to other hostels."
"I think the dorm beds could maybe have curtains but the lack of them did not impact my stay!"
"The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well-equipped, and check-in was quick and easy. The location is perfect for morning ferry - Picton - Wellington. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the stay, spa whirlpool included. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the hot shower was perfect."
