"Everything was great at Killin B&B, from the warm welcome from the hosts, to the size, comfort and view from the room. We were invited to have dinner - slow-cooked lamb and "pavrolla" - which was the best meal we had in NZ. Delicious! Breakfast was equally good too. Views of the mountains over the lakes were very special. Hugh and Dwayne were great hosts, and we can't recommend them enough."

"The Barn at Killin BNB much more than a cozy accommodation - it's a terrific experience! Hugh and Dwayne made an exceptional dinner that could rival any 5 star restaurant. They are both very welcoming and hospitable and invest a lot of time and care into their guests. The breakfast was far beyond continental- eggs bene, fresh fruit and juices, and amazing coffee! The design and decor are well considered and there are several living areas to cozy up and relax by the crackling fire. This is a hidden gem of a place, so don't miss out!"

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"
