"Property was just a 3-5 minute drive away from the main area that had food, supermarket and petrol so it was extremely convenient. The log fireplace was wonderful in keeping us warm. The owners provided us with a portable outdoor grill to barbeque which was so nice to do on Christmas day with the family in the garden. The rooms have portable heaters that you plug in as needed. Washer and drier work so fast and so well - much appreciated as we had so much laundry to do between 2 families. We travelled as a group of 4 adults, 3 kids aged 5-7 and an infant and so the amount of laundry was insane as we were caught in the rain up at Hooker Valley while hiking! We had a lot of fun with the board games provided, and the overall space was extremely cosy."

"There was no central climate control or in the rooms, so temperature fluctuated throughout the night a bit with the heating which meant we were either too cold or too warm at various points. Wasn't too big of an issue for us as we were only there 2 nights, but may be for others so just to take note is all! Bit of an issue with check in as the instructions provided in the email link did not contain the information to access the lock code. I'm not sure if we were the only ones to have experienced such an issue but the hosts were very quick to assist us once we called in which was much appreciated!"

"Great location and perfect for a large family. A nice cosy home with electric blankets and a powerful shower. Kids loved playing with the toys and books provided. A good sized dining table with enough seating for everyone."

"The outdoor seating/bench on the patio was a little wobbly and probably needs the screws tightening on the legs. It would have been nice to have a blind on the kitchen window next to the sink."
