"Very friendly receptionist. After checkout I left my luggage at the hotel. When I came back after a lengthy stroll through a rather hot and humid Auckland, the lady at the reception gave me a towel and I could take a shower before I left for the airport! Great service!!"

"We had a great room with a balcony and a fabulous view of the city. The room and bathroom were not very big, but we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is set in nice gardens and has facilities for self catering."

"We arrived quite late in the the evening, having been told by the proprietor that she had sent information so we could get in, but none arrived and we could not get a response by message. In the end the Uber driver called the number listed outside and we eventually gained access - no apology was offered for the lack of response or information."
