"The perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Fully equipped with everything you need. Cute, comfortable and so peaceful. Beautiful scenery, comfy bed and the outdoor bath at night was just amazing. Highly recommend to anyone needing an escape to unwind and recharge. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"We had a wonderful day here. Everything was well organized and well-planned. The landlord was very considerate. He prepared candies and milk for the children, and also provided us with food for the animals (there were many cute chickens, sheep, and donkeys). The children were very happy. There were also heaters outdoors at night, and we were very satisfied."

"Really helpful, kind owners who did their best to make us feel at home. You get a really generous breakfast every morning (they provide the materials and you make yourself), and it was a lovely touch that our children could go and check the hen house in the morning to find fresh eggs for breakfast. The property is on a working farm and our children loved feeding the goats, hens, sheep and horses, as well as just playing in nature. The double bed is really comfy. There is an AC unit that can be used to heat the room up if it gets cold, and it feels really cozy."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"
