"I loved how friendly the staff were, I loved how there was a community kitchen, I loved the lounges on each floor, I loved how it’s a socially sustainable hotel and I loved the location Overall your hotel exceeded our expectations and we have told all our family and friends about our experience"
"There was nothing that we didn’t like"
"Wonderful place to stay in the heart of Christchurch. Our balcony overlooked the Botanic Gardens and we were in strolling distance of the Arts Centre, riverside and city centre. The staff could not have been more helpful and the attached eatery had delicious food at very good value. Stay here if you get the chance!"

"Rooms were good size with good size lockers. Lots of bathrooms with all the toiletries in the shower."
"No social areas so more of a hotel feel than hostel feel."
"This is a beautiful location for staying in Christchurch, being right on the botanic gardens. It's also close to nice cafes, restaurants and the sights of the city. The shared bathrooms weren't too busy and our room was fairly quiet. We would definitely stay here again."
"You are sharing bathrooms and sometimes you had to wait or go down the hall if they were busy, but it was nice that they were fully contained bathrooms rather than cubicles."
"Located right next to cozy curators house restaurant inside christchurch botanical garden. This budget hotel is clean and comfortable plus it has ample parking space and a really good buffet breakfast"

"Great location for our needs. Facilities were clean."
"Everything was great for the price."
"This is a very nice hotel in town. I loved being so close to the Botanic Gardens and Arts precinct. My little single room was lovely and very close to the bathroom. Having a lounge on the same floor was appreciated. A very comfortable stay."
"The first morning I had the buffet breakfast. It was supposed to open until 10am however one of the staff started cleaning up before 830am taking the pastries etc to the other staff without letting me know that it was closing - was quite disappointed as I had not finished."

"Pete was a very welcoming host, not only providing us with a very comfortable room, but also with his advice about Arthur’s Pass, the walks, traffic delay timetabled for our return journey to Christchurch and eating options."

"This tiny "Nook" was delightful - especially the huge wet room with bath and picture window overlooking Arthur's Pass railway. A peaceful location and super comfy."

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."

"The view, the friendly nature of the staff, the dining room. EVERYTHING 😍"
