"Very spacious, quiet and peaceful. Lots of amenities, cute animals and comfortable beds."
"Lots of noisy flies, the bbq was unclean so didn’t feel comfortable using it and the main bathroom’s shower head was broken. Also, strange that an empty tea bag box was left out and the dishwasher packet was empty too. There was an Nespresso machine but no coffee capsules provided."

"The location was exceptional. A country cottage on a plateau surrounded by mountains. Alpacas and sheep grazed nearby. There were almost no people around. The house was spacious and very well-equipped. It had everything we needed. I would definitely return there again."

The views are breathtaking and made every morning and evening feel special. The hot tub was a real highlight – perfect for soaking in and taking in the stunning surroundings. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay, making cooking and entertaining easy."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"

Showers are often hit & miss when away from home but this one was a hit all the way . We loved Ziggy & the 1950’s coffee table was a delight ."
