"amazing central location - perfect for Cuba Dupa weekend! Fridge and Microwave in the queen ensuite room. Plenty of room to not trip over each other! Communal area right next to the room with cooking facilities and a view over Manners/Cuba St corner. Bag storage / pick up later on the day we left"

"Single staff member at check-in was condescending to the point of being obnoxious. The place is like a maze. Poorly signposted, no staff to help with directions, just a complicated “map” shown when checking in. No help given, just the bored-looking single staff member sarcastically repeating himself again and again with his “map” about where to go. No external windows, and just a blind to cover windows looking into the passage. The room must have been an office once. Absolutely no sound-proofing. Could clearly hear other guests’ conversations, and then them actually having sex with each other. Glad they were happy, it’s always good when a relationship starts budding, but it was impossible to sleep properly through the subsequent noise and banging. You need a sense of humour."

"Bizarre earthquake strengthening gird runs diagonally thru middle of room. Bit of a head bang hazard… No mirror. Decor is extremely dated from entrance to room entry. Like a Kubrick set."
