"On entering the hotel I was immediately greeted with a warm smile and a cool glass of fresh juice. Check in was effortless, and was asked if I would like a complimentary room upgrade from a luxury double to an executive suite, which I happily excepted. On entering the suite I found it to be perfectly presented, copious amounts of tea, coffee and milk powder etc. And a seemingly endless supply of hot water for the large bath. The bed was very comfortable with fresh clean cotton sheets and pillow cases. The food on offer was very good, and with a very wide range of selection."

Next day we had a hot breakfast and slowly strolled to Swayambhunath temple which is a UNESCO world heritage site. Overall, we had a wonderful stay in Thamel. "Amazing location, views of Pokhara and the Phewa lake. It's lacated close to pundikot Mahadev temple, makes it a great hike (carry umbrella if it's cloudy). Staff was very helpful in arranging taxis and flight tickets. I happen to enjoy the festival of Holi with the staff. One of the best location in pokhara for a relaxing stay."
