"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Darwin in Kathmandu. What I loved most was the homely atmosphere – it felt like a perfect blend of an apartment and a hotel. Despite being close to Thamel, the hotel provided a peaceful place. The rooftop was a highlight, offering wonderful views. Starting my mornings with a delicious cappuccino and breakfast was a nice experience. The tranquility of the place made it a perfect haven. Moreover, the staff were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and lovely throughout my stay. Highly recommended for a memorable Kathmandu experience."

"Everything! This place is beautiful and positioned just outside of busy Thamel so you get peace at the end of the day. The family is lovely and especially like their friendly dog and rabbit. The hotel has beautiful art and is decorated beautifully. The room was big and had a beautiful feel about it! Loved my stay and will be back when I am in Kathmandu again! I was provided breakfast in my room every morning which was a lovely surprise. There are traditional Nepalese restaurants near by that are cheap and have good food."
