"Immaculately clean and tidy. Never stayed anywhere so clean. Lovely bedroom looking out over the fjord. Cosy communal lounge and dining area. Owner and staff were very friendly."

Extremely pleasing colours throughout and has a very lovely lounge and additional seating areas to enjoy, each with different views. A unique property. The ability to use the kitchen to make teas and coffees and a fridge to store drinks and food was appreciated. Breakfast was good."
"Sadly the staff were unwelcoming and left you with the impression you were just another number. The lack of warm hospitality was the greatest disappointment in what would otherwise have been a remarkable experience. Lack of parking was also an issue - only 2 spaces for a 6 bedroom property."

"Very charming villa located in a very charming village in Sognefjord. The villa was in general very well kept and executed. It was all the small details that impressed us: comfortable beds, good bathrooms and showers, very clean, good locks on individual rooms, code lock on main entry, high quality kitchen utensils and cutlery for everyone to use. You could really see the villa wasn't cheaply put together to make an extra buck, but that they've really put in the effort. Also the gardens around were amazing, little streams of water and fountains with a lot of flowers and plants here and there, with several sitting groups for people to use. The staff was very friendly especially the French girl who made us eggs and bacon in the morning. Owned by a very nice couple."
