"I had a very good stay at Reenskaug Hotel. The reception staff were very attentive, and they kept my luggage safely until check-in time. The room was comfortable, clean, and I appreciated the Rituals bathroom products. The dinner and service in the restaurant were excellent. The waiter was very attentive, explained the dishes clearly, and even offered to translate anything into English if needed. The same waiter was also working during breakfast. I asked if they had nut-free bread, and although they didn’t have any available, he immediately looked for a solution and brought me delicious toast. The effort to find a safe option for my allergy was greatly appreciated."

"This is a very charming hotel close to the downtown. The rooms have decent sized beds and good sized washrooms. There is a bar fridge with drinks and a coffee maker provided. A steamer is included for ironing your clothes. The restaurant is amazing. We had an excellent dinner there. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. The elevator is large, unlike many places where we have stayed in Europe. Parking is available at the back of the building."
"One of the rooms was to have twin beds and did not, although we were told it did when we checked in. This same room had a small balcony. The people in the next room sat on theirs until quite late, smoking, so we could smell the tobacco smoke in our room. The windows were open for some cool air as there is no air conditioning. This would not have been a problem except for the tobacco smoke. Smoking on the balconies is obviously allowed by the hotel, since they supply ashtrays."
