Hallingparken's cabins are centrally located between the Tropicana water park at Pers Hotell and Gol Stavkyrkje. The accommodation offers 28 cabins, two apartments and a large car park for motorhomes. All accommodation units have a kitchenette with a fridge and stove as well as a bathroom with a shower. Guests can ejoy activities like skiing, cycling, shopping and hiking. The town has several cafes and restaurants. Gol Motorpark is 1.8 km from the accommodation, while the family-friendly Golsfjellet with its skiing eldorado is 13 km away.

"the location was perfect for me. i travelled there on my own for skiing. it was 100m from the railway station, which is one train and tram from the airport and 100m from the gondola for skiing. there was a supermarket 3 min walk away and a petrol station next door, that was open late and did food. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the breakfast nice and varied, english and continental style. one of the dinners i had was exceptionally good (Iberico secreto). the view from the room was lovely, overlooking the lake. the room was nice and warm (although 2 other separate people had problems with their heating). there was a bath with a shower in it. it was pretty good."
